OXC Functional Module for Optical Cross-Connect Switching

ETERN Optoelectronics' OXC Functional Module is an M×N optical switch matrix module designed for optical cross-connect and flexible fiber path switching applications. It supports standard configurations such as 4×4, 4×8, 8×8, 12×12 and 16×16, as well as customized switch matrix designs, with low insertion loss, fast switching and UART control.

OXC Functional Module

Designed for optical cross-connect systems and customized optical line card integration, the OXC module provides M×N switch matrix functionality for flexible optical path selection. It combines scalable matrix configuration, low insertion loss and fast switching response in a customizable package.

  • Supports 4×4, 4×8, 8×8, 12×12, 16×16 or customized M×N switch matrix configurations.
  • Low insertion loss design, with typical examples such as 1.8 dB @ 8×8 and 2.2 dB @ 16×16.
  • Fast optical path switching with switch time ≤ 5 ms.
  • Supports UART control for system-level integration.
  • Package, housing, PIN definition and firmware can be customized according to project requirements.
