June 23 to 25, the CFCF 2024, Optical Connection Conference, co-organized by CFOL and Chord Industry Research Center, was held in Suzhou. Etern won the CFCF 2024 Optical Communication Innovation Product Award. Mr. Mo, the Chairman of Jiangsu Etern Co., Ltd., attended the conference and delivered an opening speech.
The conference focused on the hot topics of the optical communication market and innovative product technologies, aiming to promote in-depth exchanges and market information sharing among companies in the optical communication industry. Etern follows the development trend of AI and high-speed interconnection, and brought 50G PON Z-Block, Thin Film Filter, MT-FA, DML&DFB and other laser chips and a full range of AAWG and other products to the conference.
Etern's innovative research and development of the industry's first OLT-side Rx Z-Block ultra-small component for GPON/XGPON/50G PON three-mode coexistence has been successfully shortlisted for the CFCF 2024 Optical Passive Components and Materials "2024 Innovation Product Award". A total of 179 new products participated in the competition for this award, which was selected after selection by an expert team, verification and investigation of the whole supply chain markets, and comprehensive selection by analysts of the CFOL team.
The core technology is the filter, which is coated by Etern, and successfully overcame the extremely difficult 40nm bandwidth, 2nm wavelength spacing and 30dB isolation required for the coexistence of three modes. The component has the advantages of ultra-small size, high isolation, and high coupling efficiency. Z-Block type products with the same technology platform can be used for transceiver modules of high rate transceiver such as 400G and 800G, providing stable and reliable support for high-speed data transmission.
This award is a powerful demonstration of Etern’s innovation capabilities. We will continue to deepen its efforts in product R&D, technological innovation, contributing to the high-quality and healthy development of the optical communication industry in the worldwide.
