Recently, the winning bids for China Mobile's centralized procurement project of base station fronthaul equipment for 2026-2027 have been officially announced. Etern successfully won the bid by virtue of its leading technical solutions, stable product performance and mature delivery guarantee capabilities.

In accordance with the bidding documents, the domestic sales performance of similar products of the base station fronthaul equipment tendered in this project (including passive optical multipliers, passive WDM, passive optical extenders, passive multiplexers, passive WDM devices, transceivers and semi-active WDM) shall not be less than RMB 10 million. -channel CWDM passive devices, 10G/25G 6-channel CWDM semi-active devices, where 6-channel and 12-channel versions are equipped with 6 and 12 transceivers respectively. In line with the 5G deployment plan, 10G/25G transceivers and passive WDM devices are adopted in 5G fronthaul scenarios. The procurement of 578,500 sets of CWDM base station fronthaul equipment in this project is expected to drive the demand for at least 3.47 million transceivers, and bring positive prospects for the passive WDM device and WDM optical component industries.
