Wuhan, Aug 19, 2022, Etern Optoelectronics announce the release of a new WDM optics, 25G SFP28 CWDM Bidi transceiver, and already in NPI process and delivery to customers now.

The 25G SFP28 CWDM Bidi transceiver, is a hot-pluggable SFP28 MSA form factor, simplex LC connector, CWDM 1270nm to 1370nm lambda, the unique feature is same lambda in transmitter and receiver side. It can transmit up to 40km over SMF with the APD version, and 10km with PIN version.

Integrating the micro circulator, the excellent small size design, from our passive optics team, the Bidi CWDM is possible to be true. It is a big creation in optics again by Etern Optoelectronics, the invention patents are in review.

With this technology, the density of 25G CWDM transmission is doubled, support the more possible design in 5G fronthaul network, CATV network and other CWDM network. Technology makes network more simple.
