Wuhan, February 15, 2023, Etern Optoelectronics announce the release of a new bidi optics, 25G SFP28 Bidi 40km, with wavelength 1290/1310nm, which is the most narrow wavelength spacing in bidi transceiver.

The 25G SFP28 1290/1310nm Bidi transceiver, is a hot-pluggable SFP28 MSA form factor, simplex LC connector, in one pair structure, one end is Tx 1290nm/Rx 1310nm, the other end is Tx 1310nm/Rx 1290nm, the unique feature is 20nm wavelength spacing only, to be more close to 1310nm zero dispersion area of optical fiber. Depends on the creative optical path design, and the almost zero dispersion, the transmission performance is better than other bidi products, up to 40km over SMF with the APD version.
The 25G SFP28 Bi-directional transceiver, the huge application is in 5G wireless fronthaul, and 25G Datacom Ethernet. Instead of duplex fiber, the Bidi optic achieve simplex fiber to save 50% fiber resources.
